
Sr Lead Software Engineer (ON-SITE)

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern engineering practices.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Containerize services with Docker and deploy them across AWS and on-premise environments.
- Drive modernization of legacy applications toward microservices, APIs, containerization, and cloud-native platforms.
- Collaborate with product and business teams on strategic planning, product roadmaps, and technical roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to use AI-assisted tools and other methods to accelerate high-quality software delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and promote best practices in software design, code quality, security, and Agile delivery.
- Improve CI/CD, testing automation, observability, and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Experience with AWS and containerized deployments using Docker.
- Experience with EKS, ECS, Fargate, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, relational databases, and DevOps.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practical engineering use cases.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
