Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to design and support security products and platforms.
- Provide DevOps, continuous delivery, automation, and software delivery guidelines and best practices.
- Roll out major changes and provide Tier 2/3 support during maintenance windows.
- Support a SaaS service, including irregular-hours work and on-call support during North American business hours.
- Document day-to-day activities in the ticketing system.
- Perform capacity planning and operational activities for key infrastructure services.
- Monitor production workloads, deploy new services, and troubleshoot workloads and pods.
- Mentor associate and junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience deploying and integrating complex systems across varied operating-system environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with a leading cloud vendor such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon AWS.
- Advanced scripting experience with Bash and Python.
- Experience using Kubernetes and kubectl to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads.
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Helm, and Terraform.
- In-depth experience running production workloads, including monitoring, capacity planning, service deployments, and pod debugging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams across time zones.
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills across application, network, and system domains.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; an advanced degree is a plus.
