- Maintain and improve existing systems.
- Design databases and develop SQL scripts.
- Partner with Product and Technology leadership to understand complex requirements and drive technical implementation.
- Design and improve architectures, systems, services, and components for functional, performance, and availability requirements.
- Apply software design patterns and quality-management practices to create reusable, maintainable, defect-free application software.
- Drive architectural principles and guidelines across teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for implementation, refactoring, and test creation while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.
- 8+ years of professional development experience in a production environment.
- Expert-level knowledge of systems using C# and .NET development.
- Expert-level knowledge and experience using SQL.
- Experience with unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar.
- Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: experience with Visual Studio, SSMS, Azure DevOps or Git, AWS, and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
- Preferred: experience architecting systems with C# and .NET and establishing software development best practices for standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
