Base Salary
$224k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set direction for critical developer infrastructure supporting engineering growth.
- Design and build CI and build systems that enable engineers to develop and ship robust products.
- Improve deployment workflows, including hotfix, rollback, and incident-mitigation tooling.
- Develop tools for typechecking, linting, testing, and deploying changes.
- Build and maintain scalable development environments, test infrastructure, and core developer tooling.
- Introduce and scale AI-enhanced developer tools to improve engineering speed and reduce toil.
- Contribute to Vanta’s engineering culture and collaborate across product engineering.
Requirements
- Technical leadership experience on Developer Experience or platform teams.
- Experience with build systems, CI/CD, and scaling developer workflows in fast-growing environments.
- Strong focus on performance, reliability, and usability for tools used daily by engineers.
- Ability to make thoughtful trade-offs and apply product sense when building internal tools.
