Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable full-stack software, including backend services, frontend applications, reusable code, and libraries.
Develop data pipelines that transform incoming data into Kafka streams and KeyLife Indicators.
Participate in design and code reviews, architectural discussions, requirements gathering, and the full application lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and debug applications, optimize performance, improve test coverage and development tools, and maintain legacy applications.
Configure environments, monitor system health, support production systems, and respond to on-call incidents.
Develop unit, UI automation, and integration tests and apply AI-driven engineering practices to code generation, testing, and refactoring.
Collaborate with developers, designers, system administrators, engineering teams, product teams, customers, and vendors.
Mentor junior engineers, provide internal technical support and training, and maintain team development standards.
Champion an API-first approach focused on integration, scalability, and extensibility.

At least 8 years of related software development experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
Strong object-oriented programming skills in Kotlin or Java and proven full-stack development experience.
Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.js, as well as React, Angular, and Tailwind CSS.
Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, event-driven architecture, SQL and NoSQL databases, and caching mechanisms.
Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications, monitoring and supporting production systems, and optimizing performance.
Experience developing unit, UI automation, and integration tests and applying REST API best practices.
Experience working cross-functionally, communicating technical input, operating independently, and participating in an on-call rotation.
Experience with SaaS offerings in technology or financial industries, Maven, Kotlin, Vue.js, OpenTelemetry, and AWS/Kubernetes deployment is preferred.
