Base Salary
$157k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and manage Money systems and services that commercialize Databricks products and offerings.
- Develop primitives supporting pricing strategies including pay-as-you-go, commissions, credits, trials, and promotions.
- Improve engineering and infrastructure efficiency, reliability, accuracy, and response times through testing, data quality assurance, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with commercialization experts to develop and implement pricing strategies and plans.
- Use AI and LLMs for cost insight, prediction, and optimization across cloud providers.
- Develop long-term product vision and requirements in partnership with engineering teams.
- Represent Databricks at academic and industrial conferences and events.
Requirements
- A BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Technical leadership experience on large projects involving near-real-time large data processing and distributed service infrastructure management is required.
- A proven track record of building, shipping, and managing reliable distributed services and data pipelines at scale is required.
- Demonstrated leadership across functional and organizational boundaries is required.
- A proactive approach and passion for delivering high-quality solutions are expected.
