Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute reusable automated test plans covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Verify that new features meet acceptance criteria, function reliably across supported environments, and do not introduce regressions.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable UI, API, and integration test automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated regression and workflow-level checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, defect documentation, quality criteria, and release readiness artifacts.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, acceptance-criteria definition, and release reviews as a quality advocate.
- Define test scenarios and expected outcomes, analyze automated workflow results, and collaborate with engineering, data analytics, and product teams.
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing and collaborative quality practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, test engineering, or a related software engineering role.
- Experience designing and executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases for production software in multifaceted enterprise environments.
- Advanced experience with automated testing frameworks and tools including Jest, k6, Playwright, Selenium, and Postman.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js, along with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience with back-end and cloud languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, exploratory, defect management, release validation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and reusable test design.
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to define test scenarios and expected outcomes, analyze results, communicate collaboratively, and mentor others.
