Responsibilities
- Own the architecture of systems combining AI, software, and physical devices.
- Make build, buy, and reuse decisions and assess vendors and platforms.
- Set up the team’s lab, toolchain, and simulation environment.
- Convert validated user problems into working pilots and measure adoption and impact.
- Integrate edge devices with enterprise applications and data through APIs.
- Deliver systems within security, safety, compliance, and customer quality constraints.
- Guide and review engineers and partner-team contributors.
- Define engineering practices and quality gates.
- Create reusable components, documented know-how, and invention reports.
Requirements
- Demonstrated end-to-end system design ownership and responsibility for key technical decisions.
- Experience building systems adopted by real users, with measurable user, pilot, or business outcomes.
- Experience improving other engineers’ effectiveness through reviews, standards, or mentoring.
- Experience delivering under security, safety, compliance, or customer quality constraints.
- Strong C++ and/or Python development on Linux.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of ROS 2, computer vision, sensor fusion, real-time control, or edge AI deployment.
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems through APIs.
- Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Preferred experience with Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo, NVIDIA Jetson or similar edge platforms, automotive or safety-critical systems such as ASPICE and ISO 26262, patents, invention reports, or reusable published components.
