Responsibilities
- Build and maintain shared automated performance-testing frameworks for backend and frontend applications.
- Develop reusable performance libraries and templates for DevOps teams.
- Apply AI-driven performance testing and reporting where applicable.
- Analyze requirements and define measurable performance objectives with stakeholders.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and provide technical recommendations to development and infrastructure teams.
- Use load-testing and monitoring tools such as JMeter, DevTools, k6, and Lighthouse.
- Coach and train QA engineers and developers on performance-testing best practices.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and SRE teams to integrate performance testing into delivery pipelines.
- Present performance results and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing efficiency and effectiveness through new tools and techniques.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of performance-testing experience across backend and frontend systems.
- Significant experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of performance-testing tools and monitoring solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, identify performance issues, and propose effective solutions.
- AWS cloud and containerized-application experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI or other CI/CD tools is a bonus.
- Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus is a bonus.
- Experience with Postman and Power BI is a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, independent-working, continuous-learning, and knowledge-sharing abilities.
