Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Translate business requirements into engineering designs, break down work, and create clarity for team members.
- Build robust and reusable APIs, services, distributed systems, and integrated applications.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, design improvements, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain backend, frontend, and integration capabilities using modern application design patterns.
- Experiment with AI-assisted engineering tools and cloud services and provide feedback from real-world testing.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, cross-functional projects, and dependency management.
- Coach and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 11+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, .NET, TypeScript, Go, or similar modern software development languages.
- Experience designing and building APIs, services, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, object-oriented programming, micro frontends, component-driven architecture, and API integration patterns.
- Proficiency with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Experience with modern application design patterns, including Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience across backend, frontend, and integration capabilities.
- Experience using AI-powered engineering tools safely and effectively to improve productivity and quality.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability and monitoring, DevSecOps practices, and Agile software delivery.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
