Responsibilities
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership, coaching, and direction for distributed engineering teams.
- Own and launch customer-facing features end to end across the full technology stack.
- Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
- Oversee mobile application and backend development while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Lead high-ambiguity projects and facilitate alignment on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Solve complex scaling problems and produce high-quality code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of full-stack development experience across backend codebases such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms preferred.
- 3 years of experience leading project teams and setting technical direction preferred.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed, cross-functional or cross-business organization preferred.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and managing multidimensional data at scale preferred.
