Responsibilities
- Assess, design, and implement Red Hat cloud, container, and infrastructure solutions.
- Deploy automated, containerized cloud application platforms addressing networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and resilience.
- Work directly with customers on architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, incidents, escalations, and changing requirements.
- Define system architecture and software specifications, and manage design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions.
- Serve as an on-site subject matter expert for technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs.
- Deliver on-time, in-scope engagement results and maintain project journals, status reports, and related documentation.
- Participate in sales and proposal presentations and ongoing account activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is noted as an additional qualification.
- At least 3 years of Linux system administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or a derivative.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies.
- At least 2 years of scripting or programming experience.
- Knowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, virtualized systems, client-based security, repositories, and core builds.
- Strong technical, communication, learning, and customer-facing skills.
- Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, and other Red Hat product experience, Red Hat certifications, and Spanish fluency are preferred or advantageous.
