Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, test, monitor, and deploy backend services and connector plugins in Go.
- Break down product goals and technical challenges into modular designs for execution.
- Design reliable components for database scraping and network protocol management.
- Participate in global on-call rotation and troubleshoot complex incidents.
- Identify tech debt and streamline CI/CD pipelines to enhance team velocity.
- Conduct code reviews and establish best practices in Go for the team.
- Collaborate with global Technical Leads on design proposals and dependencies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in high-scale, cloud-native backend systems.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own large tasks and influence technical decisions.
- Experience in Privileged Access Management, Identity & Access Management, or networking infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Go or expertise in C++/Rust/Java with a quick mastery of Go.
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols and database security.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD automation.
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on fostering a positive engineering culture.
