Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Analyze customers’ technical needs, infrastructure, operations, and workflows.
- Learn customers’ HPC environments and develop tailored cloud migration solutions.
- Help customers define and execute one- to five-year digital transformation strategies for migrating workloads from on-premises systems to the cloud.
- Present Rescale solutions at conferences, user groups, webinars, and other technical events.
- Collaborate with prospects, customers, and internal teams in a consultative technical role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least five years of technical experience in software, hardware, or cloud environments, with five years of enterprise cloud, hardware, or software experience preferred.
- Experience presenting highly technical topics clearly and understandably.
- Knowledge of at least one HPC discipline, such as CFD, FEA, molecular dynamics, weather forecasting, computational chemistry, reservoir simulation, media rendering, machine learning, or financial computing.
- Experience with enterprise customers in industries such as aerospace, automotive, life sciences, oil and gas, semiconductor, or EDA is preferred.
- Experience with at least one HPC simulation software package is preferred.
- Understanding of enterprise sales processes, HPC, schedulers, IaaS, scripting languages, and customer tool deployment is preferred.
- Must be a US person due to export-control-related projects.
- Must be able to manage complex projects and coordinate colleagues across diverse teams and locations.
- Periodic travel is required.
