Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-team technical delivery for complex cloud platform features.
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Build and enhance CI/CD platforms, deployment pipelines, and self-service capabilities.
- Develop and maintain platform automation, dashboards, reports, and metrics for health, usage, and cost tracking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production platform and infrastructure defects.
- Apply IAM, role-based access control, network security, vulnerability management, environment isolation, and compliance practices.
- Drive reliability, security, operational efficiency, and cloud cost optimization improvements.
- Lead or mentor platform and infrastructure engineers and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Support incident response through runbooks, escalation, and post-mortems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent related discipline in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, or a related field.
- Strong experience designing, building, and operating public cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, with GCP preferred.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, and automation tooling.
- Experience developing automation with Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, networking, security, cloud governance, and operational reliability trade-offs.
- Experience troubleshooting complex platform and infrastructure issues in production environments.
- Experience with GKE or AKS, cluster operations, node pools, Workload Identity Federation, and namespace management.
- Experience with Ansible, CI/CD, image automation, GitOps, artifact management, and Windows Server automation.
- Experience mentoring engineers, defining technical direction, breaking down epics, and driving delivery across teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and technical documentation experience.
- Practical understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Experience with GCP Landing Zones, Azure enterprise-scale architecture, NetApp CVS, Capsule, Trivy, SBOM, cosign, or enterprise Windows Server environments is desirable.
