Responsibilities
- Write maintainable, scalable, and efficient code.
- Design and architect technical solutions for business problems in a large e-commerce portal.
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers throughout the software development life cycle.
- Follow coding standards and participate in unit testing and code reviews.
- Follow release cycles and meet delivery commitments and deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing front-end software for large-scale web-based consumer products.
- Hands-on individual-contributor development experience.
- Knowledge of mobile platforms, browsers, computer science fundamentals, and HTTP fundamentals.
- Experience with UI architecture, component design, and framework design.
- Programming skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building advanced responsive layouts and browser-compatible code.
- Node.js experience is essential; React.js experience is a plus.
- Exposure to mobile interfaces and social media.
- Understanding of backend systems, web services, and APIs from a consumer perspective.
- BTech/BE or MTech/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
