Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and extend SAP Commerce Cloud applications using Java, Spring Framework, and SAP-specific extensions.
- Build and maintain headless storefronts with Spartacus, Angular, and TypeScript, integrating through REST and OData APIs.
- Write and maintain Impex scripts and FlexibleSearch queries, and manage Backoffice configurations.
- Design and implement integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP Cloud Integration/CPI, OMS, payment gateways, and PIM systems.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in the SAP Commerce Cloud CCv2 environment using Merchant Center, Cloud Portal, and HAC.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, business stakeholders, and integration partners to convert requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, conduct peer code reviews, write unit tests, and follow SAP coding standards.
- Provide L3 support, perform performance tuning, and resolve complex production issues.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development and implementation experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and object-oriented design.
- Deep knowledge of SAP Commerce data models, extension framework, Impex, FlexibleSearch, Backoffice, and WCMS/SmartEdit.
- Experience with SAP Commerce B2B and/or B2C Accelerators.
- Experience with Spartacus and Angular, or traditional SAP Commerce frontend technologies such as JSP, tag files, and AngularJS.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, OData, and integration middleware; SAP Cloud Integration/CPI experience is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as SAP HANA, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred: SAP Certified Development Professional – SAP Commerce Cloud Developer certification.
- Preferred: familiarity with SAP CPQ, SAP Emarsys, SAP Service Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Cloud Foundry.
- Previous retail, manufacturing, wholesale, or related industry experience is a plus.
