Responsibilities
- Build and ship new agent desktop features using React, TypeScript, and Nx.
- Own significant portions of the codebase and contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning.
- Review and approve pull requests while providing constructive feedback to improve application quality.
- Mentor fellow engineers and help establish the team’s technical standards.
- Collaborate asynchronously with engineering, product, design, service owners, and other stakeholders across Australia and the US.
- Contribute to written documentation and planning using Jira and Confluence.
- Participate in on-call coverage and maintain working-hour overlap with Pacific working hours.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.
- Testing experience with Jest and/or Playwright and an understanding of thorough test coverage.
- Ability to work autonomously on a small, fast-paced, distributed team.
- Strong written communication and collaboration skills in a remote, async-first environment.
- Experience conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring less experienced engineers.
- Prior experience using AI coding tools and willingness to continue developing those skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Ability to work a shift aligned with Pacific working hours and participate in on-call coverage.
