Responsibilities
- Develop and provide ongoing support for custom applications and objects within the Microsoft Dynamics environment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Canvas application technical requirements, configuration, user requirements, and system upgrades.
- Identify and implement third-party applications that enhance and support the CRM system.
- Test CRM application configurations and customizations.
- Lead or participate in client analysis sessions to determine requirements for new CRM implementations.
- Extend CRM capabilities by creating entities, forms, workflows, and reports.
- Design business processes and integrations between Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications and other applications.
- Develop production-grade Canvas and model-driven applications, Dataverse solutions, plugins, custom APIs, and complex Power Automate flows.
- Make architecture and design decisions involving plugins versus flows, solution layering, Canvas versus model-driven applications, and development, test, and production environments.
Requirements
- 6 to 13 years of experience.
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of Canvas applications, model-driven applications, and the Common Data Service.
- Experience developing production-grade Canvas apps, including Power Fx formulas, performance tuning, responsive and accessible UI, custom connectors, and solution development and versioning.
- Hands-on Dataverse development experience, including server-side business logic, plugin development, pre- and post-images, custom APIs, and error and transaction management.
- Hands-on Power Automate development experience with complex multi-step flows, cloud-flow trigger types, error handling and scopes, child flows, HTTP, and custom connectors.
- Knowledge of architecture decisions involving plugins versus flows, solution layering strategy, Canvas versus model-driven trade-offs, and environment strategy.
