Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, document, and maintain scalable client-side and server-side software.
- Build full-stack applications using AI coding assistants, including prompt engineering, output validation, rapid prototyping, and production integration.
- Develop automated testing suites and participate in code reviews while applying security and privacy principles.
- Facilitate technical discussions, oversee team development work, and promote engineering best practices and rapid software delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams on requirements, roadmaps, designs, and program-level delivery.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage software through development releases and production deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of full-stack technical experience is required.
- At least 5 years of Java and Spring Boot development experience, including microservices and event-driven architecture implementation.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- At least 2 years of test automation development experience using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- At least 2 years of Oracle database experience.
- Experience developing code using AI prompting and evaluating AI-generated output.
- Hands-on experience with release management and CI/CD deployment workflows through production deployment.
- Strong technical and communication skills are required.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and financial services or fintech is preferred.
