Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Build scalable backend services, microservices, RESTful APIs, reusable components, database objects, stored procedures, views, and optimized SQL queries.
- Develop workflow-driven case management features, user interfaces, integrations, and enterprise data flows that improve compliance and operational processes.
- Participate in architecture, technical design, modernization, estimation, implementation planning, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Support unit and integration testing, CI/CD workflows, secure coding, release activities, and Agile delivery ceremonies.
- Monitor production and non-production applications, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, improve resilience, and support SLA adherence.
- Use development, deployment, observability, and monitoring tools to improve application stability, performance, and operational insight.
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, analysts, developers, architects, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering practices across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with SQL and database development, including tables, stored procedures, views, and query optimization.
- Experience with Agile delivery, CI/CD, application resiliency, and secure development practices.
- Experience with Git/GitLab, JUnit, SonarQube, Splunk, Jenkins, and related engineering tools.
- Experience with enterprise application integration, workflow-based platforms, production support, issue triage, and root cause analysis.
- Preferred experience includes financial services, compliance, risk, case management, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, legacy modernization, automation, AI-assisted development, and mentoring.
