Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services and technical support.
- Provide senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staff.
- Evaluate compliance with organizational technology standards.
- Program well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Design and develop tests and test-automation suites.
- Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation for requirements and solutions.
- Maintain software functionality and address technical debt and currency.
- Participate in code reviews and integrate software components into functional systems.
- Apply security and privacy principles.
- Analyze business-group application requirements and recommend solutions to business issues.
- Guide IT management and technical staff on emerging technologies and associated services.
- Define implementation and integration strategies for new technologies.
- Architect microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, security and identity management, logging and observability, databases, compliance systems, and investment platforms.
- Support the BlackRock Aladdin Trading Platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Ten years of experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation.
- Ten years of experience with the Spring Ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, and enterprise microservices architecture.
- Ten years of experience with RESTful API architecture and integration patterns, including versioning, API composition, rate limiting, caching, and governance.
- Ten years of experience with event-driven architecture and job orchestration using enterprise scheduling systems such as Tivoli and Autosys.
- Ten years of experience architecting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure using Git.
- Ten years of experience with enterprise security architecture and identity management, including LDAP authentication, role-based access control, encryption, and security governance.
- Ten years of experience with distributed logging and observability architecture.
- Ten years of experience with database architecture and data management strategy, including data access, query performance, and consistency.
- Ten years of experience with financial compliance and regulatory architecture.
- Ten years of experience supporting the BlackRock Aladdin Trading Platform and trading systems.
- Ten years of experience architecting portfolio management and investment strategy platforms.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $166,500.00 to $218,000.00 per year.
- Company-sponsored benefit programs may be included in the total compensation package.
- Telecommuting is permitted up to one day per week.
- The position is located at 300 Colonial Center Parkway, Lake Mary, Florida, and has a 40-hour work week.
