Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of scalable and robust full-stack applications using Java, Kafka, and Angular.
- Design modern distributed and microservice architectures for scalable system solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical programming and architectural leadership for digital modernization of Conventional Debt Systems.
- Influence platform technology direction through innovative solutions and best practices.
- Lead engineering teams through complex, multi-year transformation programs and ensure successful delivery.
- Develop software with Spring Boot microservices, test-driven development, and AI tools.
- Execute the full software development lifecycle while applying security, privacy, and quality assurance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 10–14 years of software development experience; securities or financial services experience is a plus.
- Expert-level proficiency in advanced Java and Spring Boot for microservices development.
- Strong expertise with Oracle relational databases and data modeling, including canonical data models and JSON.
- Deep experience with Kafka and IBM MQ enterprise messaging platforms.
- Experience implementing AI/ML solutions using Python or other frameworks.
- Full-stack development experience with APIs and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
- Experience with cloud and containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, Docker, container orchestration, and application engine deployments.
- Proven experience with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development.
- Ability to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities including SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, execution, independent-working, and collaboration skills.
