Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze and trace business, functional, design, and testing requirements.
- Create user stories and develop or configure software components and applications.
- Develop Java-based REST and SOAP web services using Spring Boot.
- Implement BigQuery, Cassandra, and Azure SQL Database functionality in applications.
- Build automation scripts and implement telemetry features as needed.
- Create and execute test cases, perform regression testing, and identify and resolve defects.
- Troubleshoot application performance and availability bottlenecks.
- Monitor application metrics and logs and perform corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance.
- Participate in configuration management, change management, code reviews, and project milestone tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree or equivalent in a listed or related field.
- Experience with Agile software development using Scrum methodology, development, debugging, testing, SDLC completion, and production support.
- Experience developing Java-based REST and SOAP web services with Spring Boot.
- Experience implementing BigQuery functionality within Spring Boot applications.
- Experience using Cassandra for distributed and highly available database solutions.
- Experience using Azure SQL Database and Spring, ConcurrentHashMap, and multithreading.
- Experience processing real-time data streams.
- Experience with configuration management, change management, code reviews, cloud-native services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
