Responsibilities
- Improve the performance and scalability of internal backend components using languages including C/C++, Go, Python, and Java.
- Diagnose and debug complex issues in massively parallel systems and asynchronous network code.
- Build systems management software for application lifecycle management in software-defined, scale-out data centers.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and support engineers to deliver robust web-scale solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 7–10 years of experience building high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed applications.
- Familiarity with operating-system internals, distributed data management, and web-scale systems.
- Strong Linux proficiency and experience with Go, C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience with storage, networking, virtualization, and/or cloud technologies, including Nutanix, VMware, KVM, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with SQL or document-based database systems and messaging technologies such as NATS, Kafka, or Pulsar.
