Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate AI agents, LLM integrations, and automations connecting Salesforce and other go-to-market systems.
  • Own the architecture of the GTM Systems AI layer, including MCP servers, APIs, retrieval and context pipelines, reusable agent tools, and cloud services.
  • Ship production-grade LLM capabilities with validation, fallback logic, confidence thresholds, human escalation, access controls, audit logging, and cost and latency controls.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and SDR/ADR leaders to identify opportunities and deliver maintainable solutions.
  • Raise engineering standards through code review, automated testing, CI/CD, security governance, observability, technical documentation, and mentoring.
  • Design and deploy workflows on Camunda and Clay and create playbooks enabling GTM teams to operate automations independently.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience in backend development, systems integration, data or analytics engineering, or automation, including at least 2 years shipping LLM or AI capabilities into production business workflows or internal tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js, plus mature Git-based development practices including code review, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, function or tool calling, structured outputs, model evaluation, and associated failure mitigations.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce through REST, Bulk, and Streaming APIs, and integrating other business systems through APIs and event-driven patterns.
  • Experience with a cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and IAM.
  • Ability to own problems end-to-end, communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders, and work independently in a remote asynchronous environment.
  • Preferred experience includes MCP or similar standards, agent frameworks, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, AI observability and evaluation tooling, Camunda or Clay, Revenue Operations or GTM Systems, lightweight AI-tool interfaces, and Salesforce certifications.
