Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements, identify solution gaps and risks, and contribute to user stories.
- Design detailed solutions and convert high-level designs into component-level designs, functional logic, mock screens, and pseudocode.
- Develop and configure application components using appropriate languages, frameworks, standards, and tools.
- Build automation scripts, telemetry features, and maintainable, scalable, and highly available applications.
- Create and execute unit, integration, regression, and other appropriate tests; analyze defects and troubleshoot application issues.
- Monitor application metrics, logs, performance, and availability, and perform corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance.
- Deploy and maintain application pipelines and ensure project milestones and timelines are met.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field plus one year of software engineering or related experience; or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus three years of such experience.
- Experience designing and developing frontend applications with React, Redux, and Redux-Saga.
- Experience developing Node.js applications for server-side rendering and Spring Boot applications using Java.
- Experience with React Testing Library, Jest, JUnit, and Sonar for unit testing, integration testing, and code coverage.
- Experience designing and testing DB2 and Azure SQL databases and designing and developing Azure Cosmos or MongoDB solutions.
- Experience deploying and maintaining pipelines with GitHub Webhooks, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing Python and FastAPI REST API validation applications and responding to user questions, concerns, and technical issues.
