Responsibilities
- Lead delivery teams across cloud development, cloud architecture, systems engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps engineering and operations.
- Translate customer mission needs into technical requirements, implementation plans, and actionable engineering work.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for cloud engineering stakeholders and communicate risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and delivery status.
- Plan, execute, and close projects while tracking delivery health metrics and project KPIs.
- Design, implement, and maintain tooling and infrastructure for development, testing, automation, and deployment.
- Establish and improve DevSecOps processes across development, testing, release, deployment, updates, and support.
- Select, implement, and optimize secure CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, resolve defects, and drive root-cause analysis.
- Promote automation-first practices and integrate vulnerability assessment, risk management, and secure engineering controls.
- Support incident management and coordinate remediation with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of experience, master's degree and 0–3 years of experience, or 8–10 years of experience without a degree.
- Must maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Foundational experience with AWS and understanding of cloud architecture, design patterns, cloud computing principles, and delivery models.
- Technical leadership experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud security.
- Experience implementing or operating CI/CD pipelines and modern development toolchains.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, translate customer requirements into technical work, coordinate priorities, and deliver outcomes in an Agile environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Developer–Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, comparable Azure or GCP certification, GitLab or Jenkins experience, ITIL certification, and intelligence or national-security mission experience.
