Base Salary
$79k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build features for next-generation SmartNICs and DPU platforms for AI infrastructure.
- Develop multi-threaded embedded Linux applications and infrastructure.
- Develop firmware and embedded systems software.
- Work with network or storage stacks, Linux kernels, drivers, and virtualization technologies.
- Perform hardware and system bring-up and work with remote lab equipment.
- Collaborate with DPU and GPU manufacturers and participate in technical decision-making and discussions.
- Prioritize work, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to development methodology and technical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum five years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with C/C++ and P4 programming.
- Scripting proficiency in a language such as Python.
- Hands-on experience developing multi-threaded embedded Linux applications or infrastructure.
- Experience with one or more network or storage stacks, including DOCA, TCP/IP, NVMe, PCIe, or DPDK.
- Firmware development experience with embedded systems.
- Knowledge of at least one Intel, AMD, or ARM computer architecture.
- Hardware or system bring-up experience.
- Experience with Linux kernel or driver programming and proficiency with Linux.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as SR-IOV or VirtIO.
- Experience working in CI/CD environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, prioritization, and self-management skills.

- The role is a U.S.-based position with a stated annual hiring range of $79,200 to $209,500; bonus and equity may also be available.
