Base Salary

$113k - $169k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support scalable web applications, APIs, integrations, and customer-facing digital commerce platforms.
  • Lead technical solution design and architecture decisions across complex initiatives.
  • Develop modern digital experiences using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Implement resilient integrations with Dealer ERP, DLS, Helios, ONE, and other enterprise business systems.
  • Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, UX, Architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Use AI-assisted development throughout design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Create technical specifications and implementation plans aligned with requirements, architecture, testing, and deployment.
  • Mentor others and help advance platform modernization and engineering strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
  • Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and modern web development frameworks.
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications on Vercel and/or cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, API-first design, event-driven architecture, Micro Frontends, and Backend-for-Frontend patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, performance optimization, monitoring, and observability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions and decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with specification-driven development and responsible AI usage, including validation of AI-generated code and engineering governance.
  • Preferred experience with headless CMS, composable architecture and commerce platforms, LaunchDarkly, contract testing, MSW, Playwright, Cypress, Pact, and cloud transformation initiatives.
