Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot for critical business applications.
- Develop resilient cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
- Implement SQL and PL/SQL logic and optimize MySQL database structures and queries.
- Build responsive JavaScript user interfaces and integrate them with backend services.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, testers, and DevOps teams in a hybrid environment.
- Apply secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality.
- Automate unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Monitor application health and performance and remediate technical issues.
- Contribute to technical designs and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers on coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Support build and deployment pipelines and continuous integration and delivery practices on AWS.
- Analyze production incidents and implement sustainable corrective measures.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL query development and optimization with MySQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS compute, storage, networking, and managed database services.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend development practices.
- Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and cloud application compliance standards.
- Experience collaborating in hybrid Agile teams.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification preferred, plus any Java or SQL certification.
