Base Salary

$181k - $237k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure, developer-focused tooling, and self-service platform capabilities.
Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
Design and build software that reduces maintenance effort and business impact during failures.
Identify and reduce failure domains, improve system resilience, and guide Service-Level Objectives for owned systems.
Own medium to large infrastructure or software projects from technical design through completion.
Lead, mentor, and train engineers while establishing standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
Drive technical roadmap prioritization and facilitate cross-team execution and collaboration.

6+ years of professional software engineering experience with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
Experience contributing to cross-pod or cross-company deliverables and leading technical contributions.
Experience building fault-tolerant and scalable software systems and applying computer science concepts in practice.
Experience mentoring and training more junior engineers.
A B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent high-level industry experience.
Preferred experience managing production environments at scale in AWS or GCP.
Preferred advanced experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools and complex multi-account structures.
Preferred experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, cloud-native security, networking, service meshes, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.

Fully remote position for candidates residing in San Francisco, California, with a potential future transition to a hybrid model.
Base pay is $180,504-$236,911 per year, plus company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
