Base Salary
$71k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead or assist engineering projects involving multiple teams and federal EHR deployments for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Evaluate existing and proposed systems and enhancements, determine requirements, and ensure integration solutions meet client and product needs.
- Design and develop integrations between Oracle Health applications and federal client systems.
- Create and document visual representations of systems, inputs, and outputs.
- Partner with Oracle Health, client delivery, engineering, development, end-user, and other stakeholder teams to implement solutions.
- Work with large-scale distributed systems and automate manual tasks where possible.
- Manage work quality and proactively monitor and control engineering activities to avoid issues.
- Assist with staffing needs, including interviews, and manage third-party vendor and engineering project activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years of engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience leading or assisting engineering projects involving multiple teams.
- Experience with third-party vendor management and engineering project management.
- Federal EHR engineering and deployment experience with VA and/or DoD systems.
- Federal cybersecurity understanding or experience.
- Engineering experience with Oracle Health/Cerner applications and platforms.
- Engineering experience with Oracle Cloud or similar cloud technologies.
- Previous federal contracting experience is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance are required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
