Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end architecture for cloud-native and AI-enabled enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain solution architecture documents, component diagrams, data flows, integration designs, and architecture decision records.
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, performance, availability, observability, compliance, and cost requirements.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable solution designs.
- Design AI solutions using Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, semantic search, vector databases, and agentic workflows.
- Evaluate cloud services, AI models, platforms, frameworks, and integration approaches while documenting decisions and trade-offs.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to engineering, cloud, security, data, and product teams.
- Establish reusable architecture patterns, standards, guardrails, and best practices for cloud and responsible AI adoption.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering or application delivery, including significant experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
- Strong experience designing secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts including Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and AI agents.
- Experience defining architectures for microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, enterprise integrations, and SaaS applications.
- Working knowledge of Java and Python, with the ability to review technical designs and guide engineering teams.
- Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, data privacy, observability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Experience creating architecture diagrams, solution design documents, technology evaluations, and architecture decision records.
- Experience building Cloud Native Applications and developing applications using one or more technology stacks.
- Hands-on understanding of scalability, security, high availability, operational requirements, and the full product lifecycle.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, technical leadership, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
