Responsibilities
- Build and design trading and messaging channels interfacing with venues and exchanges.
- Operate mission-critical systems and deliver enhancements across front-office and operations functions.
- Provide technical oversight for major fixed-income e-commerce projects.
- Design and develop core components in Java and support vendor software.
- Create system testing procedures and develop unit tests for integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage stakeholders, prioritize projects, and oversee delivery and maintenance of equities applications.
- Provide second-level application support and collaborate with other platform teams.
- Use development tools including GitLab, Windsurf, and Copilot.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience using Java and related frameworks.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Oracle databases, data analysis, and data manipulation.
- Experience with Apache Camel and Kafka messaging is preferred.
- Experience with Git or SVN version control tools.
- Experience writing system, unit, and integration tests using JUnit or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
