Responsibilities
- Build agentic apps and features that enhance user engagement with Perplexity.
- Lead the development of AI-powered tools like a Personal CFO and Email Assistant.
- Own the data infrastructure and ensure 99.9% reliability for user data integration.
- Drive end-to-end projects, focusing on adoption, retention, and revenue growth.
- Set technical direction and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping complex products.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in managing large, ambiguous projects to successful outcomes.
- Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple products and experiments simultaneously.
- Excellent product judgment to translate user behavior into effective technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to improvements.
- Experience mentoring engineers and enhancing team technical capabilities.
