Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power Query and Dataflows features for Microsoft Fabric’s data integration platform.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, maintainable, and high-throughput multi-tenant services.
- Write extensible product code and use appropriate AI tools and practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create test strategies, execute test plans, add coverage, improve test reliability, and support test automation.
- Participate in rotational on-call operations, troubleshoot live-site issues, and improve telemetry, testing, guides, and documentation.
- Contribute to secure operations, security monitoring, and live-site investigation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, with coding experience including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
