Responsibilities
- Perform ETL, database, data validation, data reconciliation, migration, data transformation, report, functional, web, and client application testing.
- Write complex SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Interpret business requirements, mapping documents, and transformation logic to design test scenarios and validations.
- Create and execute detailed functional and data-focused test cases.
- Validate files, databases, source-to-target mappings, and end-to-end data flows.
- Use test automation tools and manage defects through the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment and communicate testing results and issues.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL testing.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and functional testing.
- Strong experience with source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, migration testing, data transformation testing, and report validation.
- Experience with file validation, database testing, end-to-end data flow verification, and web and client application testing.
- Working knowledge of at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, or Python.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Octane for test management and defect tracking.
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience in the banking or financial services domain is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
