Responsibilities
- Develop backend software using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable, high-performance enterprise applications and distributed systems.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate messaging systems using Kafka, JMS, and RabbitMQ.
- Design agentic AI workflows using orchestrator/subagent patterns, tool calling, multi-step reasoning, and guardrails.
- Integrate LLMs into production backend systems and develop RAG-based solutions.
- Tune application performance and improve scalability.
- Support CI/CD, DevOps, production observability, agent-run tracing, latency management, and cost management.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills and learn emerging technologies quickly.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Deep hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with SQL, concurrency, distributed systems design, and messaging integrations.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production backend systems using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent APIs.
- Working knowledge of agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Claude Agent SDK.
- Ability to design multi-agent workflows, including orchestrator/subagent patterns, agent-to-agent communication, tool calling, memory, and autonomous-system guardrails.
- Basic hands-on exposure to LLM-integrated systems through personal projects, proofs of concept, or production work.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation-driven iteration, hallucination mitigation, observability, latency, and cost management.
- Python exposure for AI integration, scripting, or data pipeline use cases.
- Knowledge of RAG architecture and vector database concepts.
- Curiosity and self-directed experimentation with agentic patterns such as ReAct, Chain-of-Thought, reflection loops, and human-in-the-loop gates.
- Financial services or investment banking domain experience is preferred.
