Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain microservices, REST API integrations, and messaging integrations with Kafka, JMS, and RabbitMQ.
  • Design for concurrency, distributed systems, performance, scalability, and production observability.
  • Integrate LLMs and agentic workflows into production backend systems.
  • Design multi-agent workflows using orchestrator/subagent patterns, tool calling, agent-to-agent communication, and guardrails.
  • Apply RAG, vector database concepts, agent evaluation, tracing, latency management, and cost management.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience is generally expected.
  • Deep hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience with strong SQL, concurrency, distributed systems, messaging, and scalability skills.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production backend systems using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent APIs.
  • Working knowledge of agentic AI frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Claude Agent SDK.
  • Understanding of orchestrator/subagent patterns, tool or function calling, agent memory, multi-step reasoning loops, prompt engineering, and evaluation-driven iteration.
  • Python exposure for AI integration, scripting, or data pipeline use cases.
  • Experience or substantial experimentation with agentic AI, including personal projects, proofs of concept, or production systems.
  • Understanding of hallucination mitigation, agent-run observability and tracing, latency, cost management, RAG architecture, and vector database concepts.
  • Financial services or investment banking domain experience.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, curiosity, and ability to learn emerging technologies quickly.
