Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems and platforms.
- Lead end-to-end development of complex applications from concept through deployment.
- Define system architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices across teams.
- Write maintainable code across backend, API, and distributed-system layers.
- Design and develop AI agents for automation, decision-making, and workflow orchestration.
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML frameworks and agent-based systems into production software.
- Drive performance optimization, scalability, and security improvements.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams on software and AI solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience or strong interest in building AI-powered systems and integrating AI into production.
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Ability to design autonomous or semi-autonomous agents that interact with tools, APIs, and workflows.
- Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems such as RAG.
- Preferred qualifications include platform engineering or developer-tools experience, MLOps and model deployment knowledge, Kubernetes and Docker exposure, technical leadership, multi-agent systems, open-source contributions, and real-time or high-throughput systems experience.
