Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support development of Java microservices and libraries for AI Governance products.
- Achieve at least 80% code coverage as per team standards.
- Collaborate with UX, Product Managers, and other developers in planning and design discussions.
- Ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal.
- Work towards reducing defects in the module/product to industry standards.
- Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality.
- Mentor junior developers on testing and development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience in object-oriented design and application development using Java/J2EE.
- Working experience with AI platforms like Amazon SageMaker or Google Vertex.
- Experience with elastic search and data streaming tools like Kafka.
- Good understanding of web services and SOA standards like REST/OAuth/JSON.
- Moderate understanding of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Agile development experience, including Scrum or XP.
- Familiarity with public cloud providers such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
