Responsibilities
- Own testing activities independently and lead testing efforts with limited QA support.
- Convert manual testing processes into scalable automated testing solutions and drive automation initiatives.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, solution planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud-native deployment solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable reliability and performance improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement in code quality, operational excellence, security, scalability, and developer productivity.
- Review code, mentor junior engineers, provide technical coaching, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Adopt AI tools in day-to-day work and stay current with emerging technologies and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in .NET and C# is required because the development team primarily works in .NET.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright, or experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools and willingness to work with Playwright.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices and engineering best practices.
- Experience with automated testing, code quality tools, application monitoring, and operational support.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills across distributed teams.
