Base Salary
$177k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, maintain, and integrate distributed event-driven microservices, cloud infrastructure, and frontend interfaces.
- Define, decompose, and lead delivery of complex technical projects and subsystems across the full stack.
- Build and operationalize software patterns incorporating AI models, data pipelines, and telemetry systems for workflow automation.
- Conduct code and design reviews and write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Own services and applications through their full lifecycle and create architecture diagrams, runbooks, specifications, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, resolve systemic bottlenecks, and mentor engineering peers.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering complex technical projects autonomously; candidates with 3+ years of exceptional, fast-tracked execution are also encouraged to apply.
- Full-stack capabilities with backend proficiency in Go or Java, or frontend expertise in frameworks such as React alongside backend API and integration knowledge.
- Professional Python experience is highly valued for data pipelines and AI/LLM workflows.
- Experience with Kafka is a plus.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-based microservices architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, containerization, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience building high-throughput workflow tools, transactional systems, dynamic user interfaces, or SaaS products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical empathy for end users.
