Responsibilities
- Design resilient, scalable, and secure Azure cloud architectures for enterprise customers.
- Lead the design and implementation of Azure Landing Zones.
- Architect and drive infrastructure, application, and database migrations from on-premises environments to Azure.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, and other Azure platform services.
- Develop hybrid and edge cloud solutions integrating Azure with enterprise environments.
- Define cloud governance, security, identity, networking, and compliance standards.
- Use Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates to automate deployments and platform management.
- Collaborate with technical teams, project stakeholders, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
- Support solution development, client workshops, architecture reviews, and pre-sales activities.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and operating Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud and enterprise architectures, distributed systems, and hybrid scenarios.
- Experience with networking, security, identity, and private networking concepts, including Azure AD / Entra ID and Zero Trust.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Bicep, Terraform, ARM, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
- Experience with integration and data architectures in cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of governance, ALM, and quality frameworks.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, presentation, customer interaction, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring and coaching consultants and engineers.
- Experience or solid knowledge of Azure data and AI services, Copilot integration, analytics, and automation.
- Fluent German and English skills at a minimum C1 level.
- Customer- and service-oriented approach, strong persuasion skills, ownership, accountability, and willingness to work in diverse international teams.
