Responsibilities
- Design resilient, scalable, and secure Microsoft Azure architectures for enterprise customers.
- Lead the design and implementation of Azure Landing Zones and cloud foundations.
- Architect and drive migrations of infrastructure, applications, and databases from on-premises environments to Azure.
- Design and implement cloud-native, hybrid, and edge solutions using Azure platform services, AKS, and Azure Functions.
- Define governance, security, identity, networking, and compliance standards.
- Automate deployments and platform management using Infrastructure as Code and related tooling.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project stakeholders, executives, and external customers.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to consultants and engineers.
- Support solution development, client workshops, architecture reviews, and pre-sales activities.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and operating Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud and enterprise architectures, distributed systems, and hybrid scenarios.
- Experience with networking, security, identity, integration, and cloud data architectures.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Bicep, Terraform, ARM, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
- Knowledge of Azure identity and security concepts including Azure AD / Entra ID, Zero Trust, and private networking.
- Solid understanding of governance, ALM, and quality frameworks.
- Experience or strong knowledge of Azure data and AI services, Copilot integration, analytics, and automation.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, presentation, customer-service, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to mentor and coach consultants and engineers and explain complex technical topics clearly.
- Fluency in German and English is required, with German and English proficiency of at least C1 preferred or expected.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
