Responsibilities
- Develop application logic and complete software solutions for multi-component systems.
- Design, implement, review, test, deploy, configure, document, and support software applications.
- Deliver highly performant, responsive, scalable, operable, and highly available products.
- Maintain and improve unit test coverage, code quality, automation, and CI/CD practices.
- Support testing resources by remediating defects, answering questions, and assisting with automation.
- Develop application components and system-to-system interfaces.
- Automate software build, operation, and runtime processes.
- Drive service integration focused on customer journey and experience.
- Participate in product prioritization, demos, acceptance discussions, and Agile team ceremonies.
- Lead technical solution planning, design, and implementation as a subject matter expert.
- Review coding, testing, and automation work and mentor junior developers.
- Promote technology standards, frameworks, process improvement, knowledge sharing, and information security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Expert experience performing code reviews, creating system designs, and mentoring junior-level developers.
- Experience leading planning, design, and implementation of technical solutions as a subject matter expert.
- Knowledge of design patterns and strong communication skills with business partners and project stakeholders.
- Extensive experience designing and developing consumer-facing products.
- Experience with software development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Experience delivering scalable products through CI/CD pipelines on-premises or in public cloud infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, web services, and Oracle SQL.
- Experience with event-driven systems such as Apache Kafka or NATS.
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies such as GTest, JUnit, and mocking.
- Experience building platforms using microservice architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud-native approaches on Linux and virtualization or container technologies such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Angular or React experience is an added advantage.
