Responsibilities
- Own conversational AI features end-to-end from requirements through production deployment.
- Architect chatbot systems using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Build production-grade systems with testing, observability, reliability, and redundancy.
- Develop guardrails and authorization boundaries for AI agents handling sensitive financial data.
- Solve production issues, complex prompt-engineering challenges, and unfamiliar model behaviors.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend-focused software engineering experience.
- Production experience building conversational AI or chatbot applications.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and agent frameworks.
- Professional delivery experience in a Fortune 500 or equivalent enterprise environment.
- Preferred experience with financial services or trading systems, MLOps, production ML deployment, LLM evaluation frameworks, human-in-the-loop systems, multi-step agent workflows, or streaming interfaces.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and apply a product-focused mindset.
