Responsibilities
- Provide technical strategy, guidance, and consultancy across medium to complex engineering initiatives.
- Drive strategic programs of work, including proof-of-concept development, technical roadmaps, and practice development.
- Develop software solutions and technical tools while influencing architecture and engineering design direction.
- Build and maintain development infrastructure and automation frameworks.
- Lead complex troubleshooting, debugging, code maintenance, and root-cause analysis activities.
- Mentor and upskill junior, mid-level, and broader engineering teams across squads.
- Collaborate across Scrum teams, offshore teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support successful delivery.
- Contribute to engineering discussions, blog posts, and knowledge-base articles.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience implementing modern and emerging technology stacks.
- Strong programming and scripting skills, particularly in Java and APIs.
- Experience with AWS, user interfaces, APIs, automation, and build-management tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Ant.
- Experience building and maintaining development infrastructure and automation frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture, debugging, code maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, guide engineering teams, and support successful project delivery.
- Strong automation, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Experience working across Scrum teams, offshore teams, and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree in computer science.
