Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and implementation of AI Ops platforms and software development solutions.
- Design, develop, customize, migrate, and decommission software applications across public and private cloud environments.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions, automation solutions, and automated testing frameworks.
- Code in Golang, Python, R, Java, or comparable programming languages.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, mentorship, and oversight to development team members.
- Plan, track, and schedule software deliverables in partnership with program teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving IT operations automation, software systems, and software-hardware interfaces.
- Create and maintain design specifications, architecture diagrams, configuration documentation, deployment guides, and troubleshooting guides.
- Define and promote new design concepts, development strategies, software architecture, and continuous improvement practices.
- Provide technical solutions and support to IT teams and stakeholders on automation processes.
- Collaborate with managers, product owners, programmers, engineers, QA, IT leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evaluate market and technology trends and incorporate improvements into software delivery and operational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 7–10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years of coding and software development experience.
- Experience developing in Golang, Python, R, Java, or a comparable language.
- Extensive AWS experience and experience with Google Cloud and public or private cloud software development.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, automation solutions, automated testing frameworks, APIs, REST APIs, and GraphQL endpoints.
- Experience with ITSM automation solutions, AIOps, event management platforms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Knowledge of enterprise service bus platforms, graph databases, MongoDB, Step Functions, SQS, and Bedrock.
- Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions for source code development and review.
- Experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms and agent frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software development processes, design patterns, architectural styles, and software technologies.
- AWS certification is required or preferred as stated in the posting.
- Proven technical leadership, team management, mentorship, troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, communication, and process-improvement skills.
- Track record of growing and managing diverse technical teams and working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
