Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scoped feature, service, API, user interface, or ML component delivery through design, implementation, testing, deployment, support, and maintenance.
- Develop Java and Spring backend applications, REST APIs, software components, automation scripts, and unit tests.
- Design and troubleshoot relational and non-relational database solutions, distributed systems, caching strategies, and scalable cloud applications.
- Automate CI/CD workflows, deploy pipelines, monitor application performance, and maintain dashboards, telemetry, alerts, and logs.
- Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI tools to improve development productivity.
- Translate stakeholder and user problems into technical requirements and success metrics while collaborating across teams.
- Conduct design and code reviews, apply software design patterns, resolve defects, and make architecture and technical trade-off decisions.
- Support peer growth through mentorship, knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area plus 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Software Engineering plus 3 years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience designing and implementing Java and Spring backend applications with REST APIs.
- Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, JUnit, Jenkins, GitHub, Git, JIRA, Azure, AWS, Docker, Redis, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure App Services, Azure API Management, and Azure Application Insights.
- Experience with troubleshooting, bug fixing, unit testing, CI/CD automation, software design patterns, distributed computing, load balancing, multi-region data centers, traffic management, logging, monitoring, dashboards, and alerts.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicate clearly, exercise technical judgment, mentor peers, and adapt to changing technologies.
